    Butch and Karen Corbett says:
Chris, we were so sad to hear the news of your dad. Karen and I loved Jackal and always enjoyed hanging out or eating at Smithfields with him. Loved our boating trips in the keys and he even came to my Change of Command in Miami in 2010. He was always smiling and joking about Karen's accent and he always kept me up to date with how many miles you had on your 4Runner. He was such a great man and I will always cherish the memories of all of us growing up together.

    Jenny and Steve Wilson says:
Chris and family, Steve and I are saddened to learn of Jackie's passing. We first became friends with him back in the 70's when he drove down to the beach at Ft. Fisher to go out on the end in his orange Chevy monster truck! He was well known on the beach for that one-of-a-kind awesome truck. We immediately became friends with Jackie and each summer after that initial friendship developed, he would come down to Kure Beach to visit with Steve and I. We loved seeing him each year as he would keep us informed of what was happening in his life. He ALWAYS talked about his Chris and was so proud! We will miss his friendship and loving smile. May you find peace in the days ahead over the loss of a wonderful father and friend.
