    Eve Evenson Perry says:
Dear Aunt Phyllis, Dean,Debbie and Scott, I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Jim passing. I have such fond memories of all our times together. Up at Lake Tomahawk and at Nannie and Papa's. And especially fond memories in Wilmington. I will never forget "my island" and the magical sand and rip currents. Those were some of my favorite beach memories and your Uncle Jim and Aunt Phyllis couldn't roll out the carpet more welcoming. I remember the best fried chicken made by Aunt Phyllis. Wilmington is probably one of my favorite places on earth! You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Our deepest sympathy. Love Eve and Chet Perry

    Glenn Evenson says:
I saw my uncle Jim at my mothers funeral two years ago. I had not seen him in quite some time, He looked great and all the years in between disappeared immediately. He was one of my favorite people of all time. He had my mothers wonderful zest for life and upbeat personality. That is why I loved him so much. He was always so much fun to be around. He and my mom are the ones who taught me how to play, never grow up and sieze the day. He had a wonderful laugh that always made me smile. He was one of my greatest examples on how to approach life. I am sad to know he is gone. Glenn
