James Albert Hufham, 65, of Wilmington died Friday November 20, 2009 at the home of his sister in Castle Hayne.

Born in New Hanover County, February 12, 1944 the son of the late Albert and Mary Autry Hufham. He retired from Modern Cleaners After 38 years of service.

Surviving are sisters Bertha H. McIntosh and husband Jim of Castle Hayne, Pat Bell and husband Butch of Wilmington and a brother Tommy Cavanaugh, of Georgia, nieces; Margaret, Deborah, Susie, Sharon, Charlene, Valorie, Julie, Betty Autry, Donna, Diane and Lisa, nephews Jeff, Tom Earl and Bobby. Many other family members and close friends also survive.

James never met a stranger.He was a very loving, caring and compassionate person who loved to ride his two wheeler everywhere he went.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M Monday, November 23, 2009 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
