James “Buddy” Milton Parker Jr.

James “Buddy” Milton Parker Jr., of Bolivia NC and formally of Aberdeen, NC, and Clayton, NC, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at his beloved beach house after a long struggling battle with cancer.

He was born in Whiteville, NC, on June 15, 1962, the son of James “Pollie” Milton and Patsy (Shepherd) Parker and was preceded in death by a son, Michael James Parker.

James worked for PCI as a team leader since 2002 and was a member of the Bolton Baptist Church. In his spare time, he loved fishing, working, and spending time with his family.

Surviving besides his wife, Debrough “Debbie” K. Hilliard are: their daughter, Jennifer W. Parker of Bolivia, NC, a sister, Barbara Jean Forbes and husband Keith of Raeford, NC and the PCI family of Raleigh, NC.

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Bolton Baptist Church, 164 Poplar Ave., Bolton, NC with the Rev. Huston Miller Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service at the church.

    Debbie, my love and my heart goes out to you and all of James family. I know this is a trying time for all of you. I can remember the first time I met James and he lived beside of us at the beach. I told him, I have some one I want you meet, and ya'll ended of getting married. He was a very kind and loving man.
