James Patrick Deane, age 78 of Wilmington, NC and formerly of College Point, NY passed away Friday, March 27, 2015.
He was born January 16, 1937 in the Bronx, NY.
James was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from Con Edison. James was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington, NC.
James is survived by his sisters, Mary, Anna, and Vera; former wife, Kathleen; daughter, Kathie and husband David; grandchildren, Alyssa, and Joshua; and nieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ellen; and sister Agnes.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Tuesday 3/31/15 at Martin A. Gleason Funeral Home, 10-25 150th St. Whitestone, NY.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Whitestone, NY. Burial will be at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in the Bronx, NY.
A memorial service will be planned at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church for a later date.
