James S. Howland, 69 of Wilmington, NC and Webster, NY

Jim passed away in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter April 9, 2011 of injuries sustained in a fall.

He was a lifelong resident of Webster, a 1963 graduate of the University of Rochester. Jim moved last year to Wilmington to be near his son.

He worked the majority of his life in the HVAC industry and was a nationally known antique arms collector.

Jim is survived by his wife Nanette, sons Eric of Wilmington and Jesse and MaryKate of Brooklyn, NY.

His 3 brothers John of Parkersberg. WVa, William of San Diego CA and Richard of Medway MA. Many neices and nephews.

Services in Wilmington were private.
