James Thomas Hight, Jr, 66, of Wilmington, NC, passed away on Friday, March 1,2013, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Life Care Center.

He was born in Oxford, NC on February 21, 1947, the son of Jean O’Brian Hight of Oxford, NC and the late James Thomas Hight ,Sr.

Prior to his retirement he was a line technician with Southern Bell, Bell South and later AT&T.

Surviving besides his mother are: his wife: Becky Knott Hight, two daughters; Wednesday Annette Dintelmann of Wilmington and Jo Lind Letterman and husband James of Youngsville, NC, a brother Steve Hight and wife Amy of Oxford, NC, also 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted,3 PM Sunday, March3, 2013 in Odgen Baptist Church,7121 Market Street, by the Rev. Don Justice.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Life Care Center, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401

    I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3,4...states "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Very soon now, we will never experience losing our loved ones in death.
