Janet Brenda Treadway, 69, of Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at home.
She was the daughter of the late Dr. William H. and Freda Bernstein. A resident of the Wilmington area since 1995, she was a vibrant and active member of the local pottery and arts communities. She was predeceased by her first and second husbands, Gene Thalheimer and Steve Treadway.
She is survived by her third husband, Gene Kerschen; a son from her first marriage, Verne Thalheimer; three stepdaughters from her second marriage, Jessica Treadway, Molly Johnson, and Laura Gergel; two sisters, Susan Bernstein and Bonnie Dockter; and numerous family members.
