Jane Giblin Burbank

Jane Giblin Burbank, age 93 of Wilmington passed away peacefully Saturday June 22, 2013 at Davis Health Care Center in Wilmington.

Mrs. Burbank was born on August 14, 1919 in New York City to the late Lee and Peggy Giblin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Burbank and a son, Robert Little.

She is survived by her daughter, Denny Quinn and her husband Dick; her stepsons, John, Michael and Steven Burbank; her grandchildren, Tricia McDonald, Carey Girolami and her husband Rob, Chris Little and Sarah Brock and their mother Joanna Little and nine great grandchildren, Shannon,Jennifer and megan McDonald, Katie and Becky Girolami, Alaina and Jeremiah Little and Caleb and Alexander Brock.

Jane was an editor of Charm Magazine and the author of a number of children’s books including “Spook” and “Sneaker Hill”. Always a book person, Jane worked as a librarian and also managed a family owned bookstore.

The family would like to thank the staff at Davis Health Care Center for all the kindness they provided during her years there.
