Jannette Guzman, age 19, of Wilmington, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

She was born in Amarillo, TX, on April 30, 2002, the daughter of Eduardo Guzman and Maria Teresa Vara Guzman.

Jannette was a student at Ashley High School.

Together with her parents Jannette is survived by her brother Eduardo Guzman, and sisters Erika Guzman, Alejandra Reyes and husband Victor, and Arianna Teresa Guzman. She is also survived by nieces Violeta Reyes and Jasmine Guzman and nephews Victor Gael Reyes and Carlos Eduardo Guzman.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00am on Monday, October 25, 2021, at St. Mark Catholic Church, 1011 Eastwood Rd., Wilmington, NC 28403. The family will receive friends at a Visitation to be held later in the day Monday from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm, at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel, 1535 S.41st Street, Wilmington, NC 28403.
