Jason Scott Riggs, age 35, passed away on May 2, 2023, in Georgetown, SC. Jason was born on April 11, 1988, in Morehead City, NC. He was the beloved son of Tammy M. Riggs and Jonathan S. Riggs. James Wagnon, his step-father, also survives him.
Jason is survived by his long-time partner, Jennifer Lynn Riggs, and his children Justin William McCandless, Taryn Paige McCandless, Savannah Nicole Riggs, and Charlie Zoblisien. His brother, Dalton Riggs, also survives him.
Jason will be remembered for his kind heart and his love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Services for Jason will be held in two locations. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at The Refuge Fellowship Church in Harker’s Island, NC. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 4:00 pm, at the Gloucester Community Center in Gloucester, NC.
