Jean Wilson Brock, age 92 of Wilmington, NC, passed away at Brightmore of Wilmington on July 26, 2022.

Jean was born on December 8, 1929 in Boone, NC to the late Chappell and Clarice Wilson.

Jean is survived by many family members and friends who loved and will miss her dearly.

    I had the privilege of taking care of Mrs Brock when she was at the Kempton assisted living and continue to visit her when she was at brightmore. She was a lovely lady and will truly be missed 🙏🙏

    I have fond memories of Mrs. Brock teaching music to us in 4th and 5th grade at South End School in Reidsville. We learned songs like "Waltzing Matilda" and "Erie Canal" and "Tenting Tonight on the Old Camp Ground" and "Let There Be Peace on Earth." She touched a lot of lives.
