Jeannie Lou Mathews Denning age 66 of Winnabow passed away Friday May 6, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Wilmington, NC on October 15, 1944 the daughter of the late James Pope Mathews and Lou Ella King Mathews.
Jeannie worked for MJB Tie Manufacturing Company for 12 years before her retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Donna Wilson and spouse Bryan, Brenda Rowe and Tito Rowe, Donald Denning, Jr. and spouse, Susan and Jenny Dove and spouse Eddie; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; twin brother, James Mathews and spouse Judy, brother, Donald Mathews and spouse Dorothy and sister Kathy Squires and spouse Donald.
A memorial service will be held 7 pm Thursday, May 12, 2011 at The Point Church, 324-L Village Road, Leland, NC.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to The Point Church.
