A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 11, 2012 in First Baptist Church of Wilmington.

    Jena was a dear friend of mine in the mid-late '90s. Though we had not seen one another in many years, she was the type of friend who I know would have done anything for me. She was a beautiful, kind, caring person who is greatly missed.

    Our deepest sympathies to Jena's family. We are never prepared for the loss of a loved one, as death was not something that was supposed to be natural to us. God created us with the purpose that we would live forever. Until that time arrives, we must deal with the imperfections of the flesh. May you find comfort and hope in the verses in Revelation 21:3 & 4 where it promises that death will be no more; and that He will wipe out every tear from our eyes.
