I remember the last day I got see you. We accomplished a 5K in Raliegh for the Breast Cancer Foundation. I cried as we walked across the finish line hand in hand. It was a expierence that was so different than any other walk/run event I had ever been to. You were so proud and you felt so good you wanted to keep walking, you said you wanted to walk another mile. Then we went to IHop and had breakfast, and you told them it was my birthday (which it wasn't) and they came out singing happy birthday to me with a bowl of ice cream for breakfast and I was looking at you and my mom like you two were crazy while you two laughed hysterically at me. After that we seen a guy on the side of the road trying to sell halloween costumes and he was dressed as a super hero and you holler out the window i'll be your wonder woman. You probably made his day and we laughed so much and jammed the radio all the way to Wake Forest to take you home to your dads. I wouldn't change that day for nothing and I can't wait until I see you at the gates of Heaven. I love you so much!!

    Nick Erskine says:
I only knew Jennifer for a short time, but the spirit and resolve she displayed in the face of such tremendous adversity changed my life forever. I will never forget this beautiful, courageous angel. Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, our souls brim with joy, for at long last, you are home. So fly freely with the angels, sing softly in our dreams, and rest safely, forever, in the arms of our Lord. God bless you, Jennifer.
