Jennifer Sanders Riker, age 50, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Born on April 19, 1965 in Roanoke, VA and has lived in Wilmington, NC for over 20 years. She was the daughter of the late Edward Sanders, and Betty Ann (Horstman) Sanders. She was predeceased in death by her husband Rick Riker who died December 12, 2015.

She is survived by her sister Abbey Garner of Wilmington, NC and a stepson Justin Riker and her 3 furry kids; Sugar, Caly, & Boggie.

Jennifer worked at the Good Shepherd Center in Wilmington and loved the staff and the clients she came in contact with each day. While working there she lost over 100 lbs. and cut and colored her hair to red.  She loved the look and felt real good about her self.
