Jerry Luther Ellers 56, passed away Monday, June 07, 2021.

He was born on November 30, 1964 in Wilmington, North Carolina to Jerry and Jackie Sidbury Ellers.

He is survived by his parents; daughter Taylor Ellers-Gibson (Andy); son Garrett Ellers; grand-children Grayson, Hudson, Olivia; uncles James (Bubba), Earl Sidbury and best friend Debbie Holst.

Jerry loved fishing wherever he could wet a hook! He was a master carpenter and could build anything he was ask to build. He was also known for his love of sweets and his “sweet tooth”. Above all Jerry will always be remembered as a loving son, father, grand-father and best friend.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

    Mr. and Mrs. Ellers I just found out tonight about Jerry passing awsy. I am still in shock. I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have always been told that the very hardest thing you will ever do in this life is burying a child. I cannot begin to imagine your pain and loss. Jerry was a good friend, we had so good times in our youth. I was looking forward to moving back into the neighborhood and being able to catch up and maybe do some fishing.
