To Donnie AIken - Yes you have the correct Jerry Holt and he was quite proud of his accomplishments in that game; I'm glad someone from it has reached out and can spread the word in game of his untimely passing from Covid. It has been a privelege and honor to have worked with him for the the last seven years of which the the last 2 1/2 have also been as a neighbor. He is and will be greatly missed. While not a Marine myself I can easily say "Semper Fi" to this honorable and upstanding man.

This may sound a little strange but I have never met Jerry. I am not sure this is the same Jerry that played World of Tanks but I know from speaking with him that he had gotten sick. I tried to send him text messages and got no response. His phone number had been disconnected. As I looked online, I found this Obituary and I know he worked at the Cadillac dealership. If this is the same Jerry, we played online games together almost every night for 8 years. Rest in Peace my friend, You will be missed.

    Deborah McDowell says:
I've only known Jerry about 2 1/2 years but it was immediately obvious to me that he was a great father and husband. I've never seen him without the twinkle in his eye and a ready smile on his face. He instantly treated me as a friend as soon as he met me. He and Sherry rescued Tony (his father-in-law) and me during Hurricane Florence when my entire neighborhood was flooded and we had to be evacuated. I was welcomed into his home to stay until I could return to my home. I will be forever grateful and thankful that I got to meet such a special man. My heart goes out to his family. I know that they feel lost without him.
