The family of Jerry Lee Koehli of Wilmington, NC is saddened to announce his unexpected passing on February 4, 2021 at the age of 76. Jerry loved his family beyond measure and was always eager to reach out to anyone in need.

Jerry was the proud owner of Jerry & Son Heating and Air. His son, Jon Koehli took over the business 6 years ago when Jerry retired. However, he continued to play an active role in the business that he created and loved.

Jerry (affectionately nicknamed Papa by his grandchildren) was known for his red socks, love for chocolate covered cherries, cinnamon rolls and cheesecake.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Barbara, along with his children, Christin Baker , (husband Rodney), Jon Koehli (wife Mary), Alison Sessoms (husband Hutch), Janet Corbley and Stephanie Sessoms; grandchildren Blake Leigh, Baylee Leigh, Jessica Jones, Trey Keeney Meghan Lassiter, Morgan Baker, Joy Brown, Josh Galloway, Tara Ray, Jayden Chavis; and great grandson Ma’kai Jones. He will also be missed by his faithful dogs, Thai and Delilah.

Jerry was an active member for many years of Life Church in Wilmington .

Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a private service for immediate family only. Memorial donations can be made to Life Church, 1939 Independence Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403.
