Jerry Lee Little

Jerry Lee Little, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully at his residence on November 4, 2023. He was born on October 30, 1950, in Southport, NC, to the late Barcy Ardell Little and Iola Little. Jerry was 73 years old at the time of his passing.

Jerry dedicated over 30 plus years of his life to Service Roofing, where he worked as a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator. His commitment and expertise were highly regarded by his colleagues and clients alike.

Outside of work, Jerry had a variety of interests that brought him joy. He had a green thumb and spent countless hours tending to his garden. He also found solace in fishing, hunting, and restoring antique tractors. These hobbies allowed him to connect with nature and find peace in the simple pleasures of life.

Jerry was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church, where he found spiritual guidance and a sense of community. He cherished the time spent with his wife, Theresa C. Little, whom he was married to for an incredible 50 years. Their love and companionship were an inspiration to all who knew them. Jerry also treasured the moments shared with his son, Jerry Lee Little, Jr., and the rest of his family.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Barcy Ardell Little, his mother, Iola Little, his brother, Dale Little, and his sister, Debbie White. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his surviving family and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife, Theresa C. Little, his loving son, Jerry Lee Little, Jr., and his three sisters, Betty Hewett, Vickie Mintz and Shirley Croom. Their lives have been forever touched by Jerry’s presence and his unwavering love.

A service to honor and celebrate Jerry’s life will be held at Wilmington Funeral and Cremation (1535 S. 41st Street, Wilmington) on Friday, November 10, 2023. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm during this time of remembrance.

Jerry Lee Little will be remembered for his dedication, kindness, and love for his family. May he rest in eternal peace.
