Jill Carter Swart 48, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter.

Jill was the daughter of Tony Tyrone Carter and Mary Shackleton Carter.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Michael Joseph Swart and their two children Danielle Paris Swart (15) and Julian Michael Swart (12); as well as her mother Mary Shackleton Carter, father, Tony Tyrone Carter and his wife, Harriet Carter; two sisters, Stacy Keels and Allie Carter Link, numerous nieces and nephews,and extended family and friends.

Jill’s kind nature and generous spirit will not be forgotten

A Celebration of Life will be held 5:00pm Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Brooklyn Arts Center 516 N. 4th Street, Wilmington NC 28403. Please bring an hors d’oeuvre, finger food, or dessert to share.
