Joe Pane, 66, of Wilmington passed away Monday January 14, 2013 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Joe was born on August 8, 1946, in New Hanover County, and lived in Wallace until 1969. He retired from DuPont , and was the CFO of Medical Insurance Assistance, Inc. His brother Frank Pane preceded him in death.
Surviving are his devoted wife of 47 years Pat Eason Pane, son Joey Pane and Dana Livingston of Rocky Point, daughters Kimberly Ayers and husband Billy of Castle Hayne, Beth Osmon and husband Scott of Atlanta, four grandchildren: Coleman and Brandon Ayers, Christian and Camille Osmon, all of whom referred to him as DIDI, mother-in-law Theresa Eason of Rose Hill, and brother-in-law Joe Eason and wife Walda of Wallace, three nephews, Michael and wife Allison , Matthew, and Patrick Eason of Wilmington.
He was a member of Wrightsboro Baptist Church where the family will see friends 4:00 PM Thursday January 17, 2013, with a memorial service at 5:00 PM. The Reverend Mike Lewis and Reverend Dan Bennett will officiate the service.
