John Clarence Seale, Jr. age 68, of Leland, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at his home.
John Clarence Seale, Jr. was born December 4, 1951 to Lt. Colonol John and Mary Foxworth Seale. Beloved brother Johnny to James Harris, and big brother to Susan Cable, Eleanor Hamilton, and Betty Caudle. John excelled in basketball in high school. But soared as a husband to Charle and father to his favorite children Michelle, Stephanie, Christie, Kenny, Lillie, John and Corbin.
A long way from North Carolina John met the love of his life Charle and on a chilly Alabama day with feathers in her hair, they committed their lives to each other. It was during the next 38 years that they worked side by side to build an incredible life together. Where one was the other was always. John loved, adored, understood, and completed Charle and she him.
Together they formed a family and it was within this family that John was loved and adore. From his early days as a father where he was known for being called Happy, to Daddy and finally Dad. He loved all his kids, taught them hard work, how to fish, driving and most of all how to live. He was always an example of unconditional love.
Our dad loved woodworking, fishing, backflips and cannon balls into the pool, hamburgers, fries and a cold beer. He loved throwing his head back, laughing, suduko, and the beach. But most of all he loved his family and his wife. His laugh and smile will be missed. But his kindness and his life lessons will live forever.
Who would have thought such a big man would have an even bigger heart that will live on in the hearts of the
people who he loved and who loved him.
John worked for many years as an Office Manager for Holmes Security in Wilmington.
As per Johns wishes he did not want a Memorial and the family asks that in lieu of flowers you hug and love the ones you love.
