John David Gore 43, of Riegelwood died Friday April 3, 2020 at his home.

David was born in Wilmington on March 27, 1977 to the late John William Gore, Jr., and is survived by his mother Cheryl Gore- Hammond and her husband Dan. He was a graduate of East Columbus High School and a 23 year employee of International Paper.

Also surviving are his paternal grandmother Mildred L. Gore, a son Seth William Gore, daughter Isabelle Gray Gore and their mother Shawn C.Gore, sister Lisa Gore George and husband Jody, uncle Dale Wayne and wife Sally, nieces Hannah Evans and Emily George. David also is survived his girlfriend Jessie Russ, and her children Riley, Jayce and Bella Russ.

Due to the current situation with COVID-19 a service will be planned at a later date.

The family would like memorials be directed to the ADR Fire-Rescue 100 John Riegel Rd, Riegelwood, NC 28456.
