I have known John since 6th grade while attnending Noble Middle School. I then attended Laney High School with him and had the privilege of seeing him play for Laney Baseball. He was such an amazing friend. Back on the Noble school bus I was always the quiet one that the older boys would pick on, but John always stood up for me and sat with me. I still remember to this day how disappointed I felt when he got switched to another bus. I can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through right now. To Mr. and Mrs. Rossi, you both raised a beautiful son. I go to UNC Charlotte but, I will be there on Saturday to pay my repects to John. I will never forget the memories I have of him, especially his fear of spiders! He was the perfect example for what all young men should strive to be. He had a wonderful outlook on life that I feel we all should try to pursue in our daily lives. You are all in my prayers. God bless you all.
