Jo Lane McKeithan Hester, 83 of Delco passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center in Wilmington.

Mrs. Hester was born in Columbus County to the late Togie Hester and Vera Roberts Hester; she also was preceded in death by her husband Luther Hester and a sister, Frances Kelly.

Survivors include her son, Luther “Sandy” Hester, Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Riegelwood; two daughters, Priscilla Hester of Delco and Tracy Justice and husband Chuck of Riegelwood; one brother, Ronald McKeithan of Jacksonville, FL. and five grandchildren, Caymen Sanie, Mary Elizabeth Hester, Chance Justice, Cash Justice and Grant Justice.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Riegelwood Baptist Church from 1-2:00 PM. The service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. John Porter officiating. Burial will be in the Delco Cemetery.

    Sorry for your loss, the Bible shows a real hope of being reunited with your dead loved ones. John 5 : 28, 29 states the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out to a resurrection. This is comforting to know that Jesus is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died. Hope this brings comfort to the family.
