Jon Kevin Lindquist, age 58, of Wilmington, NC, passed away at his home on May 8, 2021.

Jon was born in Washtenaw County, MI on June 15, 1962 to Paul Richard and Margaret Jean.

Jon loved to listen to beach music, music from the 80’s, Jimmy Buffett and Bob Segar. He enjoyed watching football and golf on television. He was even in Putt Putt Tournaments as a teen in Michigan. Jon was a constant presence at Rack’M Darts and Billiards in Wilmington. If he wasn’t working at Jack Mackerels as a cook, he was cooking for his friends at Rack’M. Jon was happiest seeing others enjoy his culinary creations he came up with on the grill and in his crockpot.

Jon is survived by his children Christian, Rebecca and step-children June, and Holly, his nephews Kevin and Christopher Trumbull, Eric and Joshua Lindquist, his former wives Wendy and Gina, sister in law Gloria Lindquist and brother in law Willie Trumbull and his former mother in law, who was like a mother to him, Reba Batton. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Sharon Trumbull and brother Richard, and former father in law, Harley Batton.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Rack’M Dart and Billiards, located at 415 S. College Road Wilmington, NC 28403, on Sunday, May 23, at 11:00 am.

    I met Jon through one of my best friends, his brother Rick. We visited Jon a few times to watch a Nascar race and chow down on some tasty vittles. I always did like those Lindquists. They knew how to enjoy life.
