Jose Emilio Vergara, Jr., age 56, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at his home.

He was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on March 26, 1965, the son of Jose Emilio Vergara and Luz Maria Martinez Vergara.

Jose worked as a Software Developer in the Computer Software Industry.

Jose served his country with honor and distinction as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force.

A Memorial Service is to be planned at a later date.
