Memorial Gifts & Donations

On Saturday, July 18, 2015 the world lost a great man. Jose Francisco Reyes Jr. (Frank) was taken to heaven, he was 44 years young.

Frank was born on September 11, 1970 in Elyria, Ohio to Adela & Dr. Francisco Reyes. He graduated from Penn State University and received his masters in Marketing and Business Administration from Frostburg State University. He had a love for knowledge and intellect, and his ability to talk to anyone about anything was a remarkable quality. Frank was a kind, caring, and gentle man. He was a loving son, brother and Tio. Frank had a love for life, people, and writing. His sense of humor was one of his best qualities and he enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh. He will be remembered for his love of Karaoke, the Cubs, his contagious laugh, his memorable dance moves and his unconditional willingness to help family and friends. His spirit will live forever amongst his family and friends through stories and memories of “Panchito”. He is now in his final resting place, with God, waiting for his loved ones to join him in a song.

Frank is survived by his parents, Francisco & Adela Reyes, his siblings, Alex & Flavia Reyes of Miami, FL, Gabriel & Jaclyn Reyes of Raleigh, NC, Ana & John Lewis of Miami, FL. Tio Frank will be missed by his nieces & nephew: Myla Reyes, Viviana Reyes, Emme Reyes, Valencia Reyes and his nephew Rocco Reyes. His Donald Duck voice always brought smiles and giggles to the kids.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at St Mark Catholic Church in Wilmington, NC at 1:00pm.

“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.”

    Lisa M. Iezzi says:
I was saddened when I heard the news about Frank... such a kind, gentle and carrying soul. He always knew how to make me smile. Two weeks ago he asked me to sing "Unforgettable" with him... how appropriate. That was the last time I saw him... Unforgettable that's what you are Frank...

    Cynthia & Darryle williamson says:
Goodbye; my friend We've done a lot of good things that we'll never regret; The good ones and moments that I'll never forget. It's hard for me to cheer up because I am feeling sad and hurt by accepting the fact that our lives will never be the same without you. You've been here with Darryle and me through some of our ups and downs; you've have been willing to drive on outskirts of towns; Now that you are already gone; I guess we have to be strong. Until we meet again. R. I Paradise Our Buddy, Our Friend For we will surely Miss you; Jose Francisco Reyes Jr.
