Joseph “Joey” Farlow, 37, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

He was born and raised in Greensboro NC and later made his home in Carolina Beach, NC.

Joey never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. He was and avid Duke fan. He was a member of Seaside Chapel.

He is survived by his mother Sue Farlow, father and step-mother Gene and Elizabeth Farlow, sister and brother-in-law- Elizabeth and Kevin Dodson, two nieces Mattie Adkins and Maci Dodson, and two nephews Blake and Owen Adkins.

Service will be held at Seaside Chapel on Friday April 3rd at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hebron Colony Ministries at 356 Old Turnpike Rd. Boone, NC 28607 in memory of Joey.

    Sue and family, I feel at times I want to cry, Joey always had a place in my heart, I do not think I have every seen him that he was not smiling. May God please comfort you and give you the assurance that Joey is walking and talking to Jesus in Heaven!! Please let me know if there is anything I can do, I will be praying!!
