Joseph “Joe” G. Walker, age 58, passed away suddenly January 31, 2015. He was born in Wilmington, NC on July 11, 1956, to the late Dorothy and Glenn Walker.

Left to cherish his memory is a son; Matthew Walker and wife Michelle, grandchildren; Hevin, Kaitlen, and Jacob, sisters; Dolly and Joyce Walker, nephews; Robert and Joey Hall, many great nieces and nephews, his longtime companion Joan Hodge and best friend Rick Millwood of SC, his much loved pets Shorty, Tommy, Lucy, and Hank.

Joe was best known for his many jokes, and many guitars.

There will be no service, but friends are welcome anytime at the home of Joyce and Dolly on Brighton Rd.

In lieu of flower the family asks that contributions be made to the Humane Society in his memory.

    I will miss Joe I worked on his chair and listened to his jokes and stories every time I went to see him never a dull moment. I left his home a many time with my stomach hurting from laughing. We will miss him at Nu Motion for sure.
