Joseph John Weilandt, age 61 of Wilmington, NC, passed away at his home on January 10, 2023.

Joseph was born in Westwood, NJ to the late Joseph John and Juliette Weilandt on May 18, 1961.

Joseph was a proud ironworker by trade in Local 433, California and also in New Jersey.

He was a man of many trades and always worked in construction, power washing, landscaping and masonry.

He was a great uncle to his niece Nicole and nephews, Keith, Ryan and Michael. They lovingly called him
“Uncle Discipline”. He has four sisters, Juliette Meyer, Dolores Krieger, Janice Kirchoff and was predeceased by his sister, Elayne Glabau.

He was a devoted son to his mother, Juliette who lived in Toms River, NJ. She was cared for at home until her
passing at the age of 95.

Joseph loved to help his friends in need and volunteered his time to the VFW in Toms River, NJ. He recently moved to Wilmington, NC in 2018 to be close to his sister. He loved the weather, sun and the ocean in NC. He also loved gardening and landscaping. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
