Joseph P. Mattlin, 48, of Hampstead, NC passed away suddenly on September 18th, 2020.
He was born in Meadville, PA on November 8th, 1971 to Joseph and Diane (Pontillo) Mattlin. He was a 1990 graduate of E. A. Laney High School in Wilmington, NC and thereafter pursued a career in the highway construction industry.
Those surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Daniel J. Mattlin (Amy) of Hampstead, NC, nieces Peyton and Leila Mattlin, maternal grandfather, Paul R. Pontillo of Meadville, PA, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends residing in Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Kansas.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020, 4:00 PM, at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation, 1535 S. 41st Street Wilmington, NC 28403.
