Joyce Marie Clark Easter 64, passed away August 10,2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Joyce was born in Miami, Florida on May 18,1957 to David and Kathleen Clark who predeceased her.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years Stanley Easter; daughter Heather Thorpe (Mike) and grandchildren Alexis and Trent Thorpe; stepdaughters Tara Bradshaw (Tracey), Sydney Starnes (Ken) and grandchildren, Logan, Haley, Jackson, and Cooper; a sister Nancy Carter and brother Albert Clark. She was also predeceased by her sister Cathy Blackmon and brother David Clark.

Joyce was a machinist for many years and was employed by General Electric. She enjoyed traveling, Bingo, Gardening and arts and crafts. She was loved by many and never met a stranger.

    Nearly 2 years later and I miss you more than I ever thought possible. I feel you with me when I’m cooking and gardening. You might have taught me how to cook my favorite foods, but it doesn’t have the love you put in it. I think of you every single day and try my hardest to keep you proud of me. I love you forever.

    I just wanted to tell Joyce’s family I’m so sorry. I feel your pain having gone thru the death of my husband but I’m glad her struggle is over. I pray you will be comforted in knowing she loved yall and was proud of you. Gone to soon no matter how much time you had her. Praying for yall.

    I was completely shocked to have just learned of Joyce passing! She has been a friend of my family’s since she was a kid! We are all heartbroken! Joyce was always such a kind person and was a barrel of fun! She will be greatly missed and we all pray for peace and comfort for all that knew and loved her!

    Joyce was one of my most cherished friends. We would talk most days on my ride home from work. She was so kind and loving and I miss her so much but I take comfort in knowing she is at her forever home. Sending prayers and comfort to her family whom she adored.
