Joyce Marie Page Lennon, age 90, of Riegelwood, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and a care giver for many years went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice with her family by her side.

She was born September 13, 1925, in Acme, NC, to Mary Medlin and Ted Page. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Ebert Lennon, her son Alden Wayne Lennon Sr. and her sister Mary Ruth Watts. She was a very caring, loving, Christian mother, grandmother and a friend to all in need.

Her loving family, and a friend for 85 years, Mattie Heath Settle Meyer, will miss her until they are with her again in Heaven.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Marie Lee and son in law Benny Lee of Lake Butler FL., her beautiful loving, faithful sister Margie Hilburn, A sweet daughter in law Linda Jarrett Lennon. Seven grandchildren; Joseph Lee Jr. (Barbara), Ted Lee (Jeanie), Mark Lee, Lisa Merritt (Randy), Rebecca Todd (Jason), Sharon Lennon Dail (Thomas), Alden Wayne Lennon, Jr. (Tonia). Eleven Great Grandchildren; Megan Lee, Kathryn Lee, Melody Shook ( Jesse), Alexandra “Alee” Goodbread, Erica Faulkner, David Lee (Miranda), Eric Lee (Cece), Hailey Lennon, Courtney Lennon, Ryan Todd, Jacob Todd, and four great great grandchildren; Gracie Balwanz, Easton Shook, Trenton Shook, and Parker Shook.

The family will receive friends at a visitation to be held Friday, October 16, 2015 from 2:00- 3:00 PM at Cape Fear Baptist Church, 2349 Neils Eddy Road, Riegelwood, NC 28456. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM, Pastor Joseph B. Lee, Jr. and Pastor Eddie Watts officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
