I’m only seeing this obituary notice for Judy now. I worked with Judy at the Pikes Peak YMCA in Colorado Springs when she and Carl were stationed at the Air Force Academy. I remember Judy as a real live wire with a fun, firecracker personality. She was easy to be friends with and I am sorry to read of her passing. I remember Judy and Carl hosting a “pig pickin’” on AFA grounds for the entire workplace. They both were great people. I will miss knowing she is not among us anymore. RIP, Judy.

    Ellis Furst says:
We will miss Judith. She and Carl walked the dog, Juby, I think. down our street several times a day. I was always amazed at how fast she recovered from surgeries and was right back out there walking in every kind of weather. She was a tough ladyand didn't complain. She was always grateful and gracious and such a beauty. I went to her yardsale and bought some travel trinkets to remember her by. I was hoping to see her again when they moved back to Wilmington, we'll have to wait until heaven. I taught two of her granddaughters art lessons.
