Judy LaVern Willetts 73, of Leland, NC died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at her home.

Judy was born in Aiken County, SC on April 26, 1949, the daughter of the late Eugene and Valeria Margaret Hewett Sally. Preceding her in death are a grandson Derrick Benton and a sister Shelia Salley.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years Michael (Pee-Wee) Willetts; daughters Amy Ray and husband Eugene; Tonja Osborne and husband Fred and Terrena Ludlow; sister Patricia Salley; eight grandchildren Jennifer; George; Jeremy; Fred; Keith; Wayne; Samantha and Michael. She also has twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Cornerstone Baptist Church 1638 Lanvale Road Leland, NC 28451. Her daughter will officiate the service Rev. Tonja Osborne. Burial will follow in the Benton Cemetery.

The family will see friends Friday, June 3, 2022, between the hours of 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Michael Davis; Wayne Johnson; Nathaniel Shutz; Johnnie Ison; Tim Estep; George Clemmons; Fred Osborne and Tim Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers Michael Wise.

Pas 18:2 “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower”.
