Wayne Sneeden, 63, of Wilmington, NC, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at Trinity Grove.

He was born in New Hanover Co., NC, on March 19, 1949, the son of the late Bryant G. and Elizabeth Rae Jones Sneeden. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Samuel Sneeden.

Surviving is his wife of thirty-five years, Yvonne Sneeden of the home; son, Jarod Rodriguez and wife, Michele of Wake Forest, NC; two daughters, Lindsay Harvell and husband, Anthony of Spicewood, TX and Janet Patterson and husband, John of Leland, NC; eight grandchildren, Kelli, Dakota, Isabella, Ainsley, Rianne, JR, Emerson, and Cameron; brother, Allen Sneeden and wife, Linda of Rocky Point, NC; sister-in-law, Diana Sneeden Brady of Wilmington, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Cypress Island Club House, 9316 Line Drive, Wilmington, NC.

    What a patient, kind man was Wayne, through all of his illness he fought the strong fight. Now he is pain free and resting.
