Julius Cole Rassin, 22, of Wilmington, NC, entered into life immortal, Saturday February 24, 2018.

Cole was born October 12,1995 in Wilmington NC. Julius Cole is preceded in death by Paternal grandfather, and namesake, Julius Rassin of Milford OH, and Maternal Grandparents, Dale & Belle Parsons of Franklin VA.

Julius Cole is Survived by his Parents Steve Rassin, Mary Belle Jones, and brother Creed Rassin, all of Wilmington. He also, leaves behind his step-parents, Mark Jones and Christina McMillan also Wilmington, Paternal Grandmother Frances Rassin of Milford OH, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. Also, dear friends Clarence and Melinda Hales of Wilmington.

Cole was a lover of Life, Music, Nature, and People. He was an amazing performer who wrote and performed his original songs in downtown Wilmington, NC, and graced the stage and screen as an actor, as well. A free-spirit, with a captivating voice, he used his music to tell others what he felt the world needed to hear, enchanting those who heard him. While performing downtown, it was not unusual to see him stop performing a song and go over to someone he thought needed help.

Cole’s heart and soul were always seeing the beauty in everyone and everything. Cole would want us to all rejoice and celebrate, not be saddened by his passing. His music was such a joy for others and an inspiration to him, he would want us all to listen to his music, or any music. He would want us to recognize how music helped him to be such a shining light of love and compassion to so many.

A memorial service will be conducted 10:30 AM Saturday March 17, 2018 at LIFEPOINT CHURCH, 3434 SOUTH COLLEGE ROAD WILMINGTON, NC 28412

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Julius Cole Rassin Music Fund, 206 North 4th Street, Suite #14, Wilmington, NC 28401.

You loved playing and singing your beautiful songs for us and we are all blessed that God sent you into our lives. You have now gone home to live with Jesus for eternity.
