Katherine Delores Leadman, 78, died Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Azalea Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Leadman was born in New Hanover County on July 30, 1944. She was the daughter of the late Mary Branch Plank and Robert Hughes Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Melvin Leadman Jr., brother Robert Hughes, and sister Mary Rackley.

Mrs. Leadman retired from Cape Fear Memorial Hospital. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Survivors include a brother Donnie Hughes, sister Sheila Loflin of Wilmington, daughter Tammy Leadman; son , James Keith Wilson; and grandson, Brian Keith Leadman.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday June 1, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.


Funeral Service

The funeral will take place on June 1, 2023 at 1:00 AM at Graveside Service followed by burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park cemetery
