    KATHY MERCER says:
Kay was a good woman, in every sense of the word. And her sense of humor was even better. She was a positive person and saw the humor in everything. My heart goes out to her girls and their families as they grieve her loss. Loss, but not lost. We know where she is, more alive than ever! 'Til we meet again!

Kay was one of my sister's best friends, and our Friday night dance parties always included me (their little brother. Kay's Dad was my Sunday School teacher and had a huge influence in my life as a youngster. Kay and her family will always be remembered as part of the Lockamy family...so grateful for all of them.

    Susan Smith Ritter says:
Kay was an excellent sister-in-law to us Smith girls, Kathy, Julie, and myself. She was so present in conversations, always so genuine and loving. And always that beautiful laugh!! I'll always treasure those early years watching her mother her girls. She loaned me her prized high chair when I became a mother, she told me the best years of her life were laughing and playing with her girls in that chair. Kay was gifted in many ways, her fantastic personality never ceased. I remember her signature Christmas trees, my favorite the gorgeous sparkly sand dollar ornaments that she had collected. She was extremely creative and passed that along to her girls. Nobody loved being a Mother more than Kay, seeing Allison and Kimberly today is proof of that. I will always cherish and remember her in my heart.
