Kathleen E. Kupinski got her wings on June 30, 2022, surrounded by family and love. She was 78 years old and lived in Wilmington, NC. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Kathleen was a proud graduate of Mount Mercy Academy and Trocaire College of Nursing. She found strength in her faith and devoted herself to her family and caring for others.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Norm; daughters Sue and Jeanne (Juliao); sons Norbert and John; son-in- law Moises Juliao and daughter-in-law Natalie Kupinski; grandchildren Faith, Gabe, Max, Jack, Grace, Elise, Evan, and Emily; siblings Dan (Donna) Colpoys and Eileen (John) Graubman; sister-in-law Judy (Gary) Sengbusch; nieces and nephews; and many sons, daughters, and grandchildren, who she welcomed and embraced into her heart and family.

She was welcomed to heaven by her parents and beloved brothers Jimmy and Jack, and many family and friends who are rejoicing together with her in their eternal peace.

Kathleen’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 6, at 9:00am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 6650 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington, NC.

She will also be honored on Saturday, July 30, at 9:30am at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, 450 Abbott Rd, Buffalo, NY.

Kathleen was a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project and the Good Shepard Center and in lieu of flowers, she would welcome your generosity in her name.
