Kathleen E. Fahey, age 70 of Hubert, NC, passed away Saturday April 7, 2018 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
She was born on May 24, 1947 in Fall River, MA. The daughter of John and Natalie Fahey.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Laura Furr, Granddaughter Amanda Danielsen and her husband Chad Danielsen, and Great Granddaughter Ryleigh Kathleen Danielsen.
She is also survived by sisters, Virginia Simmons, Deirdre Hartmann, and brother Kevin Fahey.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Natalie Fahey, and brother John Joseph Fahey lll.
Kathleen retired from The Internal Revenue Service, and thoroughly enjoyed it!
She enjoyed watching Old black and white movies on Turner Classic Movies. Susan Hayward was her favorite!
She enjoyed dancing to German bands at The Germania Hall in San Jose, CA in the early 80’s. She enjoyed country line dancing, and concerts with her daughter.
Her biggest joy was her daughter, Granddaughter, and Great Granddaughter. Her three babies as she would say. She was so proud to watch Laura and Amanda Irish Dance for years!
She absolutely loved spending time with Ryleigh Kathleen and spoiling her!
Kathleen was so loving, caring, and had a great sense of humor! Her smile lit up a room.
She was a wonderful Mother, Grandma, Grammy and best friend.
She is loved beyond words and will truly be missed.
The family will have a private ceremony on Wed April 11, 2018.
