Memorial Gifts & Donations

Kathleen (Kitty) G. Sadler passed away peacefully in Hampstead, North Carolina on October 12, 2020 with her family by her side. Kitty was born August 27, 1924 in Washington, DC, to John and Teresa Gray. She is preceded in death by her three husbands: Maurice Mahoney, Dominic Mancini and Henry Sadler, her parents, sister Tess and brother Jack.

Kitty was a faithful member at All Saints Catholic Church in Hampstead. She was passionate about
giving of her time and talents as an active volunteer all her life, particularly with children with special needs and hospice in Clarksville and Arlington, Virginia. A true inspiration to everyone she
touched, Kitty encouraged her family to work hard and be kind to all, especially those less
fortunate.

As the matriarch of a large, close family, Kitty’s greatest joy came from her children. She is
survived by her four children, Michael Mahoney (Rita), Pat Pollich (Gardiner), Sharon Mahoney,
all of Hampstead, North Carolina, and Colleen Moore (Ralph) of Apex, North Carolina, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

For the health and safety of our friends and family, a memorial service is not being held at this time.
A service and interment at Arlington National Cemetery at the side of Henry Sadler will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please share a random act of kindness to a stranger in her memory. Be at peace Mom, you will be remembered by many and loved forever. As Mom reminded us everyday at dinner prayer…“St. Joseph remember the poor.”

    GEORGE WHITE says:
It was with great sadness that we learned of Kitty's passing. She had been a life long friend of our family from the time that our parents met as neighbors on "4 Mile Run" through multiple relocations to include Clarksville, Virginia. Her grace and kindness will always be remembered. Our Mother Marge White was greatly distressed at her passing. May God continue to bless your families.
