WILMINGTON — Keith Allen Kopka was born on Oct. 3, 1968, to Colonel John and Polly Kopka of Hubert, NC and passed on March 3, 2014, after a 4 year battle with ALS. He was the grace and light in a hard situation. Keith leaves his cherished memories to his loving wife, Megan; son, Bruce; daughter, Jaden; his parents, John and Polly Kopka of Hubert; his in laws, Ken and Janet Fogle of Chagrin Falls, OH; his sister and Brother-in- law, Kim and Bill Ratcliff of Wilmington; his Brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Brittany Kopka of Wilson; His brother-in-law and wife Ken and Jenna Ferguson; nieces & nephews, Christopher, Mason, Kate and Jack Kopka, Hunter Ratcliff and Aiofe Ferguson; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues. The Memorial Service will be at 5 p.m. on Friday at Port City Community Church, 250 Vision Drive in Wilmington, NC. Keith’s wishes were to protect and provide for his family. Gifts celebrating Keith’s life may be designated to help insure a college education for his children and to allow Keith’s passing to continue to guide his children’s future.
