Keith Morgan Westbury, age 46, of Rocky Point, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at his home with family by his side.

He was born in the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC on July 26, 1973, the son of Wesley Westbury and Gloria Jean Westbury.

Keith is survived by his father Wesley Westbury; sisters Tiffani Westbury and Tammi Westbury; nieces Jalin Mathis, Syklar Westbury Hall and Anah Westbury; nephew Daniel Mathis; aunts Kathy Gore Brennan, Kozette Gore and Debbie Westbury and Uncles Randy Westbury and Wayne Mohr. Keith had many cousins and numerous special friends but one was always there when he needed him and that was Sam Watkins, he became a member of our family.

Keith was predeceased by his mother Gloria Jean Gore Westbury.

Keith’s main passion while growing up was his involvement with the Boy Scouts and at the age of 18 he proudly earned his Eagle Scout Award. Keith graduated from Laney High School in the Class of 1991, then continued his education in college where he received a Degree in Photography.

The family would like to give a Special Thank You to the folks at Easter Seals and Trillium for always making Keith feel Special, it meant so much to Keith and his family.

A Memorial Service is to be planned at the Wrightsboro Baptist Church at a later date and time and will be announced.

    Wes I am so sorry for your loss. My memories of Keith mostly was the laugh, he had a laugh like no other, I think he had it patented. Another thing is that year we took the boys to New York, Adirondaks, Keith and I siiting up on that big rock, looking down on you and the rest of the boys and just talking, I liked that and I think Keith did too. God Bless

    Dear Wesley, Tammi and Tiffani, So sorry to hear of Keith's passing, but so glad to hear you were at his side. He was quite a unique young man.
