Kelli Erin Best, 29 of Wilmington passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Wallace Best and maternal grandfather Ruben Fenton, Jr.

Kelli is survived by her parents Reid and Susie Best, sister Christi Powers, niece Jessica Lynn Powers, nephew Jonathon Spencer Powers, grandmother Jacqueline Fenton, all of Wilmington, uncle Ronnie Best, aunt Christi Best and cousin Shannon Best of Myrtle Beach, SC.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday at the residence at 119 Inlet Drive to celebrate her life.

Kelli was a member of Wrightsville Beach United Methodist Church and graduated from Laney High School, Class of 1999. She was a Nursing student at Cape Fear Community College. Kelli loved to travel.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Palliative Care, New Hanover Regional Medical Center, 2131 South 17th Street, Wilmington, NC 28401

    Susie - I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful daughter, Kellie. I only saw her a few times at the Salon, but I know what unconditional love a parent has for their child. We hope and pray they have a wonderful life and enjoy the many joys life has to offer. Kellie's life was short, but I'm sure you have lots of memories to treasure always. When you look up to the starry sky, the brightest star is Kellie looking down on you and your family smiling and throwing kisses.
