Kelly Guy Lloyd, Jr, 70, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Lloyd was born in Wilmington to the late Kelly Lloyd, Sr. and Nell Bland Lloyd. He was married to the late Tina McKeithan Lloyd. He was an automobile mechanic and was a partner in Lloyd’s Garage and later sole owner of Kelly Lloyd’s Garage and U-Haul. He was a kind and hard-woking man. He loved and cared deeply for his friends and family and would give the shirt off his back. His spirit will always remain in the hearts of the ones he knew. He may be gone from this world but he will never be forgotten.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by one son, Kyle Lloyd.
Survivors include one son, Kelly Guy Lloyd, III, of Wilmington; one brother John Lloyd and his wife, Lee, of Burgaw; and his special friend, Jewell Sikes, of Wilmington.
