Kevin Brent Shaver

Kevin Brent Shaver, 54, of Wilmington passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 st his home.

Kevin was born on June 22, 1965 in Harrisonburg, Virginia to Koln Sherwood “Bud” Shaver and Linda Dawn Payne Shaver and they reside in Kure Beach. He preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Vivian Payne.

He was united in marriage to the love of his life Connie Shaver on November 8, 2002.

In addition to his wife and parents he also leaves behind three sons Joshua, Shane and Korry, his sister Terri S. Anderson, nieces Savanna, Emma and Anna, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be private.

You are my shooting star, my best friend, my rock, and the love of my life. Life will never be the same without your love, your laughter, and your kindness. Thank you for showing me what love truly means. You were always by my side, always there to lift me up if I was down, and always wiped away my tears, and with just one laugh life was normal again. A piece of me went with you and you will forever be in my heart. Until we meet again, all my love, Connie.
To know Kevin is to know he was a great man. Kevin loved the beach, fishing, BBQs, and being around his family and friends. If you were around Kevin you knew it was going to be a good time. His laughter was so distinct you knew it was Kevin from a mile away. Kevin was a great man, loving everyone that crossed his path. He loved his family. The memories we have no one can take away. You will forever be in our hearts, and you are going to be missed more than you know. Make sure you have a glass of wine with grandma and let her hear your laughter and take care of Sawyer and Adler and show them the amazing uncle you are. We all love and miss you and know there will be no more tears in heaven. All my love, Connie.
