Kevin McDonald Hinson 44, of Wilmington, NC died Friday, November 11, 2022 at his home.

Kevin was born in Wilmington on July 26, 1978 the son of Walter Lewis Hinson and Joyce Ann McDonald Hinson. He attended East Carolina University and had received his North Carolina Real Estate License. His love was the out doors and being on the waters of the Cape Fear, he loved camping and was very Talented at playing the guitar, most especially Country music. He loved NASCAR and in his younger years had a Champ Car and loved the competitiveness of the racing sport. His favorite companion was his K-9 Yeager who had preceded him in death.

Surviving are his parents Walter and Joyce Hinson; brother Waylon Hinson; nephews Summit Hinson; Braven Hinson and  Rollins Hinson as well many, many friends.

Family and friends will have a time of sharing Memories at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel on Wednesday November 16, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Please feel free to come causal.
